Our latest project is a 672 sq' garage with an upper Guest House in Ormond Beach on the oceanfront.  This guest house meets or exceeds all hurricane-resistant requirements, and includes many custom elements and designs. The exterior treatments feature the latest salt, weather, and corrosion resistant products available.  James Hardie cementious siding and trim, PVC band materials and all fasteners are high grade stainless steel.  The building envelope is a "closed system" with sprayed icynene attic insulation, closed soffits to eliminate salt and water intrusion and an attic space that has a temperature differential of no less than 8-10 degrees from the living space.  Special touches are the driveway inlays of travertine marble, horizontal bamboo flooring, and custom handrails designed to resemble fish (at the Owner's request) synthetic porch decking, and PVC railings.  Our latest project  is constructed to withstand the elements with a minimum amount of maintenance for many years.
